1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Daily Knowledge Tracker ("DKT", "the Service"), operated by Laxius Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), a business registered in England and Wales.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use DKT

DKT is a parent-managed educational tool. Parent/guardian accounts must be used by adults who have authority to provide information about the children whose learning they track. Student Hub access (where enabled) is under parental control.

New parent accounts may require administrator approval before full hub access is granted. During free-trial campaigns, new parent registrations are held for approval even if automatic approval is otherwise configured. You will see an approval-pending screen until an administrator activates your account.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account used to sign in, and for all activity under your DKT account. Notify us promptly at laxiustech@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions and billing

DKT may offer a free trial and paid plans (for example Paid Parent seats). Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices, seat quantities, and paper limits are shown at checkout and in your account.

• Billing: Recurring charges (typically monthly) are processed by Stripe according to your selected plan and seat quantity.
• Cancellation: You may cancel a paid subscription via the Stripe customer portal (where available) or by contacting support. Access generally continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
• Seat changes: Adding seats may be prorated mid-cycle; reducing seats may apply from the next renewal.
• Trials: Trial length, availability, and limits are set by us and may change; trial eligibility may be one-time per account. Enabling free trial for new signups may also require administrator approval before hub access.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service (including attempting to disrupt it, scrape content at scale, reverse-engineer systems beyond lawful rights, or use generated content for unlawful purposes). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

6. AI-generated content

Practice papers and explanations are generated with AI and may contain errors. DKT is a learning aid, not a substitute for official curricula, exams, or professional teaching. See also our Disclaimer.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and platform software are owned by Laxius Technologies or its licensors. You retain rights to content you provide; you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate DKT.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Laxius Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) £50.

9. Termination and data deletion

You may delete your account and associated data via Profile settings or by following the process on our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
