Data Deletion

1. Overview

Under UK GDPR you may request erasure of personal data we hold about you and the student profiles you manage. Laxius Technologies provides both an in-app deletion path and an email request path so that Google OAuth users and others can complete account removal.

2. Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Sign in to Daily Knowledge Tracker as the parent/guardian account owner.
2. Open Profile.
3. Scroll to Delete Account & Data, confirm the warning, and complete deletion.

This permanently deletes your parent account, linked student profiles, year-group and optional school/age fields you provided, Student Hub PIN hashes, generated papers, and test/attempt histories associated with those profiles. Active Stripe subscriptions tied to the account are cancelled when possible.

3. Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the parent email address registered on the account:

Include the subject line "DKT account deletion request" and the Google email used to sign in. We will verify ownership and process deletion without undue delay (typically within 30 days).

4. What we delete

• Parent account profile and OAuth identifiers
• Student profiles (name, email, year group, optional school/age, PIN hash)
• Papers, attempts, markings, and related learning history
• Billing customer records in our database (Stripe subscription cancelled best-effort)

Limited operational backups may persist briefly until rotated. Stripe may retain payment records as required by financial law; those are controlled by Stripe under its own policies.
